  • Extensive experience across BC jurisdictions, with a strong understanding of local permitting processes and requirements

  • Efficient, coordinated document production, enabling fast and responsive revisions

  • Deep familiarity with insurance restoration workflows, including insurer coordination and required documentation

  • Leadership and coordination of consultant teams, integrating structural, building envelope, and code requirements into a cohesive design package

  • Consistent field review and contract administration, ensuring built work aligns with the design intent and approved documents

About Us

Re_Studio is an architecture practice specializing in restoration after fire and flood damage.

As architects, we have an affinity for housing and facilitating spaces which can hold a home. When a building is damaged by flood or fire, the emotional and logistical load on residents is a heavy one to carry. Re_Studio’s primary aim is to lessen some of that load and help people get back into their homes as soon as possible.

We act as the prime consultant, leading projects from initial assessment through to final inspection. This includes not only the preparation of architectural drawings, but full management of the permitting process by coordinating submissions, responding to municipal plan reviewers, and working directly with our trusted consultants.

Our approach is a collaborative one in which we first clarify our clients’ goals, whether that means the 1:1 restoration of the property aesthetically and structurally, or whether there is a desire to imagine something new. Whatever the goals, we aim to frame our projects as opportunities for recovery and renewal.
